‘A design always starts with a conversation with Montis. As the client, they explain what they are looking for and I then determine how I will design it. For the Fox, we were looking for a sofa that wasn’t too large. As a special detail, I chose to let the curve of the back continue into the arms. The Fox is a sofa that leads to a more upright sitting position. This, and its somewhat modest dimensions, also makes it very suitable for the project market, for example for a reception area.’
