‘The idea was to design a dining chair that envelops you in a certain way. Additionally, we wanted to give the chair the comfort of a sofa. After all, when you’re sitting at the table with friends, you spend the whole evening there. The Luna also had to have the Montis DNA: strong, technically well-made, and with character, but also with soft shapes. We created a wooden base over which we draped the upholstery like a coat. The shape of the armrests resembles a turned-up sleeve. Besides being a dining chair, the Luna is also very suitable for your (home) office or for conference rooms where you often sit for long periods.’
