‘Whenever there is a tour of my department, I feel proud. It’s fun to tell people about the process from frame to chair. It is also nice to see how amazed everyone is that we can turn a steel frame into a foam chair in 10 minutes. When I talk about it so passionately, I realise more than ever that we make very beautiful furniture here in Dongen. It’s quite special to be part of this, together with all the fine colleagues.’
