‘We find it most enjoyable to work on a model that takes a long time to finish, like the Ringo. This sofa consists of different layers of polyether (foam), which we glue around the frame. Finally, we cover it with a layer of dacron. This is a type of synthetic down that provides wonderful seating comfort. It is very satisfying to carefully and attentively complete an entire piece of furniture, after which your colleague in the upholstery department performs his or her task with the same passion. It’s beautiful to create a highquality product together in this way.’
