Oliver Schick: ‘I wanted to create a lounge chair with maximum comfort and chose an oversized design that would resemble a small sofa. The Fabian doesn’t really have armrests, so you can sit or lounge in it any way you’d like. The chair surrounds you like a shell offering you a moment of retreat from your surroundings. That is what I wanted to express with this design. In any space, the Fabian is both an eye-catcher and a solid base. From the back, it resembles a sculpture; on the inside, it is soft and cuddly. And the great thing is, both the inside and outside are fully recyclable.’
